Vicky Pratt Becker is a Toronto-based ceramicist, stylist, and maker, inspired by raw materials and the tactile nature of clay. Her work explores simplicity and contrast — a longstanding minimalist practice drawn to texture, to nature, and to the ongoing need to make things.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Design from the York University + Sheridan Institute Program, where she studied design and fine art. Every piece is hand-thrown or hand-built in her Toronto studio using natural stoneware and food-safe glazes; small variations in colour, shape, and size are part of the work.
